02 · RELEASE NOTES

What changed

wisp-science v0.15.0 adds Feishu/Lark and WeChat remote conversations, session-scoped SSH/WSL compute authorization, a Python/R runtime environment explorer, OAuth for remote MCP connections including optional Notion setup, configurable agent iteration limits, single-instance desktop activation, and broad remote-access, settings, OAuth, layout, and Windows troubleshooting improvements.

What's changed

  • Add Feishu/Lark and WeChat bots with shared desktop/IM project and session routing, slash commands, and safe progress updates.
  • Make remote compute opt-in per conversation, persist capability probes, and expose a pinnable Python/R in-memory environment explorer.
  • Support OAuth for remote MCP URLs, keep tokens in the OS keyring, and make Notion MCP an explicit optional connection.
  • Configure the per-turn agent iteration limit from Settings, with 0 meaning unlimited.
  • Restore the existing workspace on repeated launches and fix session dragging, scrolling, center-pane sizing, settings actions, and OAuth cancellation/reuse.
  • Add Windows WebView2 repair guidance and align the Remote Access and environment settings surfaces.

03 · UPGRADE

Upgrade notes

  • Install v0.15.0 directly over v0.14.0. Existing projects, sessions, model configuration, runtimes, and connection settings are retained.
  • The first launch creates the session-level compute-resource association table automatically; no manual database migration is required.
  • Remote compute environments are no longer enabled globally after upgrade. Select the SSH or WSL environment again in every conversation where the agent may use it.

04 · LIMITS

Known limitations

  • Windows installers remain unsigned and may trigger SmartScreen.
  • IM v1 mainly supports text messages. Tool approvals still happen on the desktop, and an expired WeChat iLink binding must be renewed by scanning the QR code again.
  • Bring your own API key. Fees, quotas, and availability for third-party models, Notion, Feishu/Lark, WeChat, and scientific services are governed by you and the relevant providers.
  • SSH and WSL capabilities depend on the target environment. Wisp does not automatically repair remote dependencies or network connectivity.
